Glitched Out
36” x 48” . Iridescent pouring medium & acrylic paint on stretched canvas.
In 2019, I had a friend whose TV finally gave out on them while I was over at their apartment. I sat in front of their broken device for a long time, continually flashing fast-paced colors in its final hour of life. This is my painted interpretation of the photo I took of it back on that day. A photo of the vibrant bars of color and static that displayed on-screen, over and over, was the inspiration behind this painting.
